Raised in Oregon and steeped in her family’s rich history of artistry and connection to the land, Irena has always found inspiration in the beauty of nature. From a young age, she was surrounded by creativity, learning the value of hard work and a deep respect for the earth from her mother and grandmother. Growing up in a Russian community in Oregon, she cherished her roots but was also driven to seek independence and experience a wider world.
Irena studied fine art and graphic design at Oregon State University, where she also discovered a love for painting. Her creative career began in college and eventually led her to San Francisco to land on multiple creative management roles, where she honed her skills in color, design, and artistry that continue to shape her work today.
Returning to Oregon, she embraced her passion for making art, homesteading and sustainable gardening practices, completing certifications in horticulture and small-scale flower farming. After a period of personal transformation, Irena decided to follow her dream of sharing beauty through flowers. Each of her designs reflects her journey, creativity, and respect for nature, offering others a heartfelt connection to the natural world.
With WILD STEM Flowers, she brings a fresh, artistic approach to floral design, celebrating resilience, beauty, and the magic of nature—passions rooted deeply in her story.
